Nick is a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to supporting clients to reduce psychological distress and live emotionally fulfilling lives. 

Nick is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Nick supports adults, couples, children and adolescents with a range of presentations, including: depression and anxiety disorders, low self-esteem and confidence issues, relationship difficulties as well as sex and intimacy issues, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, specific phobias, PTSD, life transitions, exploration of gender & sexual diversity, and their intersections with diversity in culture and religion. 

 

Nick is passionate about working with other members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their relationships. Nick has published research exploring the relationships of the LGBTQIA+ community, and continues to passionately focus on this area in both clinical practice and research. More generally, Nick enjoys assisting all relationships and partners through relationship difficulties such as disconnection, conflict, infidelity, and navigation of ethical non-monogamy.  Nick also has a strong interest in supporting clients with eating disorders. 

 

Nick values building warm and authentic therapeutic relationships with his clients as the foundation of therapy, and uses a range of evidence-based therapies to help clients achieve their goals and alleviate distress including: 

  • Emotionally-Focused Therapy for individuals and couples.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Schema-Focused Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders

  • Sex therapy
