LGBTQIAP+ Mental Health

True North Psychology is dedicated to affirming and providing support for all people of diverse genders, sexualities and bodies. Our team includes a diverse mix of queer-identifying and allied psychologists eager to support your mental health.

Supporting the LGBTQIAP+ Community & their mental health.

At True North Psychology, we recognise that the LGBTQIAP+ community faces heightened mental health challenges due to the impact of societal discrimination and minority stress, and unique challenges in exploring and disclosing their identities. We strive to create a safe and affirming space where you can explore and address these issues, whether they relate to identity exploration, relationship dynamics, gender affirmation, or any other aspect of your mental health and well-being without fear of judgment or misunderstanding.

True North and our psychologists acknowledge these unique challenges and needs of the LGBTQIAP+ community, and are committed to providing therapeutic assistance that’s affirming of you and your identity. Several of our clinicians are also queer-identifying, please speak to our admin team if you’d specifically like to see a psychologist within your community.
