Ewan Love

Registered Psychologist

Ewan believes no therapy will be effective without a solid foundation of trust, warmth, and respect, and this is his first priority with all clients.

Ewan is available from Tuesday to Saturday each week.

Ewan is a highly experienced Registered Psychologist who fosters a judgment-free environment that allows you the space and time to find the clarity you are looking for. Ewan takes a calm, solution-focused approach to therapy. He believes that his clients can quickly find the best outcomes for their own challenges when given a clear framework to evaluate their situation, identify their options and learn the skills to apply their decisions.

Ewan approaches his clients with openness and curiosity, and values a collaborative style to problem solving during sessions. He understands that having a therapist who is familiar with your history and is available for either structured or periodic therapy can help you navigate new challenges more easily as they arise.

Ewan has a particular interest in relationships and family systems and can support a variety of issues and age groups including:

  • Children (7+) and adolescents: anxiety, behavioural issues, school refusal, friendship difficulties and neurodiversity.

Ewan draws most heavily from therapies with a solid evidence base, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and

  • the Gottman Method for couples therapy.
